World Cup: Lothar Matthaus hands Germany coach starting XI against Spain, omits Chelsea, Bayern stars

Germany legend, Lothar Matthaus has handed head coach Hansi Flick a starting XI to play against Spain when both teams clash in tonight’s FIFA World Cup tie.
Germany will face Spain in their second World Cup group stage tie on Sunday night after losing 2-1 to Japan in their first game.
However, Matthaus wants Flick to drop Chelsea’s Kai Havertz and Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller from his starting XI to face Spain, who thrashed Costa Rica in their first game.

Goalkeeper: Manuel Neuer.
Defenders: Christian Gunter (in for David Raum), Antonio Rudiger, Niklas Sule, Thilo Kehrer (in for Nico Schlotterbeck).
Midfielders: Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka (in for Thomas Muller), Ilkay Gundogan.
Forwards: Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry, Nicholas Fullkrug (in for Kai Havertz).
The kick-off time for the match is 8 pm.
