Yobe Assembly set to screen 20 commissioner-nominees

The Yobe State House of Assembly has released a timetable for the screening of the commissioner-nominees.

The Speaker of the House, Rt Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio, announced this while speaking at a plenary session on Tuesday.

According to the speaker, the first batch of the nominees, which include: Mohammed Garba Gagiyo, Engineer Usman Ahmed Bururu, Ya Jalo Badama, Ibrahim Adamu Jajere,Ali Mustapha, Aji Yerima Bularafa, Mohammed Abacha and Sidi Yakubu Karasuwa, will be screened on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

He added that the second batch of nominees who will be screened on Thursday, August 17, are: Abdullahi Bego, Barrister Sale Samanja, Barma Shettima, Engineer Umaru Wakili Duddaye, Mohammed Lawan Gana, Ahmed Buba Abba Kyari, Yusuf Umar Potiskum and Kaigama Umar Yunusari.

“The third batch of the nominees, which include: Mairo Amshi, Mohammed Sani Idriss, Musa Mustapha and Mohammed Bello Kawuwa, wiil be screened on Friday, August 18, 2023”, he said.

The speaker called on the nominees to come along with their curriculum vitae for the screening exercise.
