Yobe: Buni dissolves 17 LG Caretaker Management Committees

Following the expiration of the six-month tenure of the 17 Local Government Caretaker Management Committees in Yobe State, Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved the dissolution of the committees.

The dissolution was contained in a statement duly signed and issued on Thursday by the Secretary to the State Government, Baba Malam Wali which indicated that, it is with effect from May11, 2023.

Wali in the statement directed the outgoing Chairman, Caretaker Management Committees to hand over the affairs of their respective local government councils to Directors of Personnel Management (DPMs).

According to the statement, Gov Buni expressed his appreciation to the outgoing Caretaker Management Committees for their support, commitment and the various successes they recorded during their tenure.
