You’ll remain poor if paid for service to God – Pastor Ibiyeomie

Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries has warned members of his church they will never come out of poverty if they get paid for rendering service to the church.

Ibiyeomie claimed that the moment they get paid for serving God, their blessings stop.

The assertions are contained in a video circulating online and sighted by DAILY POST on Wednesday.

Citing a biblical passage, the cleric told his church members that it is written that ”they will be blessed from serving God.

“You are beating drums and they pay you if you are hearing me from anywhere in the world and they pay you for rendering service, I can tell you, you will never come out of poverty.

“Thou shall serve the Lord your God and he shall bless your bread and water. So the moment you serve God and they pay you, the blessings stop.”
