2023: My husband now calls me ‘Labour Party’ – Aisha Yesufu cries out

Popular Nigerian activist and social critic, Aisha Yesufu says her husband no longer calls her pet name (beautiful) because of her identification with the Labour Party.

Yesufu said her husband instead now prefers to call her “Labour Party”.

She disclosed this in a post via her verified Twitter handle.

The social critic is a known, strong supporter of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.

According to her, she wished the 2023 general elections would soon be over, so she could be pampered again by her husband.

She wrote, “My husband is now calling me Labour Party instead of the baby or Osotse (beautiful) that he usually calls me.

“I can’t wait for the election to be over to go back to being the pampered baby girl I am.”
