Across Lagos, strategic collaborations between government institutions, security agencies, corporate stakeholders and community leaders have steadily transformed the security landscape, ensuring that residents can live, work and conduct business with greater assurance. It is within this context that community leaders from Agege Local Government Area and Orile-Agege LCDA paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan in the agency’s Headquarters, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, Lagos on Wednesday 3rd of June 2026.

The leaders also lauded the support extended to security operations aimed at combating crime and illicit drug activities in the area. They noted that the increased operational presence of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and other security agencies within Agege has contributed positively to efforts aimed at curbing drug-related crimes and enhancing public safety.
Dr. Ogunsan, in his response, appreciated the delegation for taking time off to pay the visit. He reaffirmed the Fund’s unwavering commitment to strengthening security infrastructure across Lagos State. He emphasized that the LSSTF would continue to work closely with security agencies and relevant stakeholders to ensure safer communities and a more secure environment for all residents.
Present during the visit were the Head of the LSSTF Monitoring Unit, Mr. Adeniran Samson Israel; alongside community stalwarts from both Agege and Orile-Agege including Hon. Sabitu Kamorudeen, Hon. Akinbode Odekunle, and Engr. Adeniyi Adekoya.
