CAFWCL: AS FAR don’t scare us – Bayelsa Queens forward, Sunday

Bayelsa Queens forward, Juliet Sunday, has backed her side to progress into the final of the CAF Women’s Champions League at the expense of hosts AS FAR of Morocco.

The Nigerian champions head into tonight’s semi-final encounter at the Stade Prince Moulay Hassan Abdellah as the underdogs.

AS FAR won all their three group games in convincing fashion.

They will also be backed by a vociferous crowd inside the stadium.

Having recovered from the defeat to defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns in their first game, Sunday is confident the Prosperity Girls can go all the way in the competition.

“We have trained hard and I believe we are fully prepared. My best is yet to come, we were losing a lot of chances because we hesitated too much, most times before the ball I am so excited to score, that is the reason,” Sunday explains,”Sunday was quoted by CAFonline.

“My team had worked on that, to be patient and score the goal, with the patience and training we’ve had now, we are going to convert our chances.”
