CISAC DIRECTOR AT COSON AS BOTH ORGANIZATION SEEK IMPROVED INCOME FOR RIGHT OWNERS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

Mr. Samuel Sangwa, the Regional Director for Africa of International Confederation of Societies of Authors & Composers (CISAC) was on this Friday, May 5, 2023, at COSON House, the headquarters of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Nigeria’s biggest copyright collective management organization.

Mr. Sangwa held critical discussions with the leadership of COSON on initiatives to ensure that right owners in music copyright in Nigeria receive appropriate benefits for the public and commercial exploitation of their works.

Present at the meeting were Chairman of the COSON Board, Chief Tony Okoroji; COSON General Manager, Mrs. Bernice Eriemeghe Ashibuogwu and COSON Deputy General Manager, Mr. Vincent Adawaisi.
