EPL: Darren Bent names club Harry Kane will not join

Former Premier League striker Darren Bent has said that Harry Kane joining Chelsea will never happen.

According to Bent, there is no way Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy will ever sell the England international to Todd Boehly Blues because of the hatred between the two clubs.

Bent does not even believe that the England captain would leave the London Stadium, adding that he would be shocked if that happened.

Speaking on talkSPORT: Bent said “I’d be stunned if he leaves Spurs because, for me, the ideal spot for him is of course Manchester United or Chelsea.

“There’s no way on the planet that [chairman] Daniel Levy is selling him to Chelsea, that’s just never going to happen because of the hatred between the two clubs.”

He noted that moving to Manchester United would make more sense for the 29-year-old.
