EPL: Your club has been sacking managers for 22 years – Jordan to Chelsea fans

Former Crystal Palace Chairman, Simon Jordan has reminded angry Chelsea fans that their club is used to hiring and firing managers at will.

He said the fans should not be surprised by Thomas Tuchel’s sacking.

The Blues announced the sacking of Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday morning following their 2-1 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday.

It came after just six Premier League games and one Champions League defeat at the beginning of the 2022/23 season and this has generated a lot of controversies among fans of the club.

Swift firings became a theme of the Roman Abramovich regime, so it should come as no shock that the new owners are following suit.
