Gavi inspects vaccine storage facilities in Abuja

On Thursday, a high-level delegation from Gavi, the global vaccine alliance, inspected the National Strategic Cold Store in Abuja.

The inspection is part of a framework designed to ensure equitable distribution and use of all vaccines, including Covid-19 vaccines donated to partners.

The purpose of the visit to the cold store in Abuja was to assess and evaluate vaccine storage conditions as well as the level of usage.

The delegation was also scheduled to visit some primary health care centers in order to assess the value of health-care investments made over the years.
