Insecurity: El-Rufai calls for land, air attack on the terrorists

Nasir El-Rufai, the Governor of Kaduna, has called for a simultaneous air and land attack on the terrorists by neighboring states.

As he stated, the piecemeal attacks have not been effective in halting the spate of kidnappings in the Northwest.

El-Rufai made the remarks during the weekly ministerial briefing organized by the Presidential media team on Thursday morning.

He revealed that when terrorists are attacked and chased out of Kaduna, they seamlessly move to neighboring states due to the vast forest range.

According to El-Rufai, the bandits, who are now terrorists, are involved in kidnapping due to the lucrative nature of the “business” of kidnapping.

He explained that, while a simultaneous land and air assault in all affected states may result in the loss of innocent lives, his plan is not to kill innocent people.
