ICPC denies selling questions used in previous recruitments

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has raised an alarm about a syndicate using its name to defraud unsuspecting citizens.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the anti-graft agency informed Nigerians to be wary of those selling handouts purportedly containing past questions from the agency’s previous recruitments.

“In view of this unwholesome development, ICPC wishes to make it abundantly clear that it has nothing to do with the so-called past questions,” the statement reads.

Urging members of the public to call the toll-free number 0800-2255-4272 (0800-CALL-ICPC) to make complaints, the commission said it will prosecute persons found involved in “disseminating fake information and extorting money from hapless applicants.”
