Kano: Police place N1m bounty on two suspected criminals

Police in Kano State have declared two suspected criminals wanted, placing a N500,000 bounty on each of them.

Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Sani Gumel, stated this while parading Sadiq Ahmad, popularly known as Big Star, one of the criminals terrorizing people within the Kano Metropolis.

The CP explained that the arrested criminal had been on the police wanted list and was trailed and arrested after he attacked one Abdulrahman Isah with a pair of scissors and inflicted life-threatening injuries on him.

He said the victim was rushed to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital where he was treated and discharged.

He said the discreet investigation is ongoing and that will be charged in court.

CP Gumel however appreciates the good people of the State for their continuous support and cooperation.

He reiterates his promise of placing a N500,000:00 bounty on each of the topmost declared thugs for anyone who offers credible information that could lead to their arrest, especially Abba Burakita of Dorayi Karama Quarters and Hantar Daba of Kwanar Disu Quarters all residents of Kano.

He further urged them to keep reporting any suspicious movement of person(s) or item(s) they come across to the nearest Police Station or through the following Kano State Police Command emergency contact numbers: 08032419754, 08123821575, 09029292926.
