Lagos APC Campaign Council: Foot Soldiers Directorate Holds Inaugural Meeting
… plans massive votes for all APC candidates
It was an avalanche of political calculations, ideas and brainstorming session as the Foot Soldiers Directorate of Sanwo-Olu/ Hamzat Campaign Council, headed by Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government held the Inaugural meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting which had in attendance members of the directorate, extensively discussed the modalities and strategies the directorate will employ in driving home the maximum votes for the ruling APC.
The Director of the directorate, who is also the Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede welcomed members of the directorate to the crucial meeting and told them that they all have been saddled with important roles and that they must deliver.
He said, “I welcome you all to the inaugural meeting of our Directorate. As the name implies, we are to galvanize and massively mobilize the foot soldiers that will drive home the needed supports for our party. I am happy that members of the directorate are seasoned politicians with vast experience in the political activities of our party. We have been saddled with important roles and we cannot afford to fail. ”
Other members also gave suggestions on how the effects of the directorate can be felt across the entire Lagos State.
Resolutions concerning the structure of the directorate and modalities of their activities were unanimously agreed.
The director, Otunba Oloyede reiterated his commitment and promised to give his best towards ensuring that the directorate succeeds and the ruling APC Emerges victorious across the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas in Lagos.
Other members in the meeting include Hon. Babatunde Tella (Deputy Director), Hon. Olukunle Olaore from Lagos Central ( Secretary), Hon. Tunde Abodunrin (Deputy Director, Lagos Central), Hon. Odedeyin Emmanuel (Deputy Director, Lagos West 1), Hon. Shola Adeniran (Deputy Director, Lagos West 2) and Comrade Kenny Kadiri Edu (Deputy Director, Lagos East).
