Qatar 2022: Spain coach, Enrique reveals who to blame for World Cup exit

Spain coach, Luis Enrique has taken full responsibility for his team’s exit from the 2022 World Cup.
La Roja were sent packing by Morocco in their Round of 16 clash on Tuesday.
Although Spain dominated possession, they failed to score in 120 minutes and the game ended goalless.
The tie went to penalties, where Enrique’s men had two attempts saved by Yassine Bounou and saw one come off the post, before Achraf Hakimi converted the winning spot kick.
“The responsibility is mine. I chose the first three penalty takers, who were those I thought were the best specialists on the pitch.
“We didn’t even get to the fourth. Bounou is a spectacular goalkeeper in this aspect; he has a high percentage in going the right way. He was great,” Enrique told reporters.
Spain had also lost to hosts Russia via penalties in the last edition of the tournament in 2018.
