Oshodi-Isolo Council Chairman, Otunba Almaroof Oloyede Condemns Attack on PSP Staff

… Gives stern warning to law breakers

The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has strongly condemned the recent fracas involving a staff member of the Private Sector Participation (PSP) operator and a youth in the Branco area of the local government.

According to available information, the unfortunate incident, which reportedly arose from a disagreement during the course of duty, resulted in injury to the PSP staff. Following the incident, the chairman promptly directed security agencies to take action, leading to the arrest of the culprit.

Otunba Oloyede-Almaroof emphasized that the suspect will be made to face the full wrath of the law, as the administration will not tolerate any form of violence or obstruction against workers lawfully carrying out their responsibilities.

The chairman further warned youths and residents of the local government to desist from taking the law into their own hands, stressing that any individual found engaging in acts of violence, lawlessness, or harassment of public or private service workers will be dealt with decisively in accordance with the law.
