Real Madrid legend Guti names best player in the world

Real Madrid legend, Guti, has named Vinicius Junior the best player in the world at the moment because of his relentlessness.

Guti said the Brazilian international is the worst opponent a defender could face.

Vinicius has enjoyed a remarkable season and has become a fan-favourite at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 22-year-old has scored 21 goals and provided 16 assists in 45 games across competitions for Real Madrid so far this season.

“Vinicius is the best player in the world,” Guti said (via MadridXtra).

“Why? It is because he’s the worst opponent a defender could face; he always turns up [and] he always keeps trying.

“There are other stars that have off games and stop trying, but Vinicius never does. He’s always there.”
