Serie A: Chukwueze gears up for first Milan derby

Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze is expected to be in action when AC Milan take on rivals Inter Milan in the Derby Della Madonnina at the San Siro on Saturday (today).

It will be the first time Chukwueze will get the chance to feature in the derby.

The 24-year-old, who joined AC Milan from Villarreal this summer, played in the Rooseneri’s opening three league games.

The pacy winger was on target in Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe last weekend.

AC Milan and Inter Milan are the only two teams in Serie A to have recorded perfect starts in 2023/24.

Inter won all four games between both teams last season, with Milan failing to register a goal in any of the fixtures across the Supercoppa Italiana final, the Serie A game and the two legs of the Champions League semi-final.
