Transfer: Cristiano Ronaldo’s shirt number at new club confirmed

Cristiano Ronaldo will get to wear his preferred no.7 shirt at Al-Nassr.
The Saudi Arabian club announced the 37-year-old’s transfer on Friday.
Ronaldo has signed a contract until the summer of 2025, which will see him receive $75million per year.
“I am excited to experience a new football league in a different country.
“The vision of what Al Nassr is doing and developing in Saudi Arabia both in terms of men’s and women’s football is very inspiring,” Ronaldo said.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner first wore the no.7 shirt when he moved from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United in 2006.
He continued in the tradition at Real Madrid, Juventus and on his return to United last year.
