YOU’RE A JOKERS: ATIKU/OBI JOINT TICKET IS A MOVIE SCRIPT – ALAWUJE SAYS

In a recent statement, Alhaji Abdulhakeem Alawuje, the National Coordinator of the Tinubu support group Disciples of Jagaban, criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the possibility of an Atiku/Obi joint presidential ticket, describing it as a venture that belongs only in the film industry. Alawuje dismissed Atiku as unfit for leadership and argued that the former VP’s criticism of the judiciary and his political ambitions are misguided.

Almighty God Has Forbid Atiku According to Alawuje, divine will has already ruled out Atiku Abubakar’s chance of leading Nigeria. He stated, “Almighty God has forbidden Alhaji Atiku Abubakar from ruling this country, even before he declared that God should forbid a second term for President Tinubu.” Alawuje further described Atiku as a “comedian” whose rightful place is in the entertainment industry, not in the nation’s political leadership.

Alawuje said, if truly the previous structure that we are fighting to defend was not in any way reflected in any region masses, then why are we now instigating the same masses to go against the new reform?

Anyway, the day the masses realise that the political elites are just using them as political tools for their agenda, it’s the day the country’s masses will have total freedom from all region’s political rapists.

Tinubu’s Vision and the Battle Against the Old System. Alawuje commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasizing that his administration is focused on reforming and restructuring a deeply entrenched old system. He noted that the beneficiaries of the previous system, who have grown powerful and wealthy, are now fighting back to prevent Tinubu’s success.

“Tinubu means well for this country,” he said. “Unfortunately, the old structure’s beneficiaries, who have enriched themselves through the previous system, are resisting his efforts to bring about change and balance.”

Alawuje cautioned against allowing politicians to manipulate Nigerians along regional and religious lines, urging citizens to prioritize the unity and development of the country over divisive political rhetoric.

A Warning to Political Aspirants
In a bold declaration, Alawuje asserted that no any Northern candidate should expect to succeed Tinubu before 2031. He recounted his group support for Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 when he urged Southern politicians to wait until 2023 for their turn. Similarly, he now calls on Northern aspirants to wait until 2031 after Tinubu completes his tenure.

“Any Southern candidate preparing for the presidency after Tinubu’s second term is merely wasting time and resources,” Alawuje said. “They should consider joining the movie industry instead.”

Atiku’s Political Struggles
Alawuje attributed Atiku’s inability to gain leadership to the actions of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who, he claims, destroyed Atiku’s chances of ruling Nigeria. He criticized any political party that offered Atiku its ticket, labelling such efforts as futile and a waste of resources.

The Bigger Picture: Unity Over Division
Alawuje concluded by calling for a focus on the welfare of the masses, transcending regional, ethnic, and religious divides. He argued that Nigeria’s challenges are rooted in a divide between the wealthy elite and the struggling masses, rather than a conflict between North and South or Christians and Muslims.

“It’s about the wicked rich and the innocent masses,” he stated. “If any regional candidate is genuinely ready to fight for the Nigerian masses and deliver justice directly to the people, may Almighty God assist them. This is not about North or South, Christians or Muslims, but about delivering fairness and equity to the people.”

Alawuje reaffirmed his support for Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing that any attempt to undermine his leadership would jeopardize the unity and stability of the nation. He urged Nigerians to stand behind the President’s vision for a balanced and restructured country.

Conclusion
Alawuje’s remarks reflect the ongoing political tensions and debates over leadership in Nigeria. While his statements are sure to stir controversy, they also highlight the urgent need for unity, reform, and a focus on the collective welfare of the Nigerian people.
