Zamfara police command decorates 54 senior officers with new ranks

Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Muhammad Shehu Dalijan and the State police command’s management team, have decorated fifty four senior police officers of the command with their new ranks.

They were promoted to various ranks in the recent promotions released by the Police Service Commission, (PSC).

According to a statement issued by the Command’s spokesman, Yazid Abdulahi, the those promoted comprised three Superintendent of Police, (SP) promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP ) and 51 Assistant Superintendents of Police, (ASP) promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, (DSP).

Among the beneficiaries are the Chief Imam of the Command, SP Suleiman Al-hassan, who was promoted to the rank of CSP; others include, ASP Aminu Magawata, ASP Buhari Yandoto and ASP Hassan Abdullahi promoted to the rank of DSP.

In his remarks, the Police Commissioner, Zamfara State Command, Muhammad Shehu Dalijan congratulated the newly promoted officers.

He charged them to put in more commitment and professionalism while discharging their legitimate duties.
