NCC praises Glo’s customer complaint resolution record

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Nigeria’s telecommunications industry regulator, has commended Globacom for its outstanding performance in consumer complaint management and resolution.

In a letter addressed to Globacom and signed by the Principal Manager, Consumer Protection and Advocacy, Consumer Affairs Bureau (CAB), Kabiru S. Haruna, the Commission expressed satisfaction with the company’s handling and resolution of customer complaints in August 2026.

The letter stated: “We are pleased to note that your organisation achieved and surpassed the Commission’s complaint resolution thresholds of 90% and 97% for Level 2 (L2) complaints. This accomplishment reflects your commitment to regulatory compliance, consumer satisfaction, and the continuous improvement of service delivery.”

It also highlights the importance of disciplined complaint management and adherence to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) established by the Commission in strengthening consumer confidence and fostering a more positive customer experience across the industry.

The NCC further urged Globacom to sustain its commendable performance and continue implementing measures that will enhance service quality, improve complaint resolution and deepen consumer satisfaction.

The company attributed the improvement in its customer service performance to the continuous training of its customer-facing personnel, alongside strategic investments in modern technology to strengthen operational efficiency and responsiveness.
