The Nigeria Police have declared Austin Ikenna Adiele wanted over the disappearance of about 35 grams of gold valued at approximately ₦7 million. Adiele was reportedly last seen in Surulere, Lagos, on Monday, August 17, 2026.

According to the police, efforts to contact Adiele since his disappearance have been unsuccessful, while concerns have grown over his whereabouts and the location of the missing gold.

The police have appealed to members of the public with credible information about Adiele’s whereabouts or the missing gold to report to the nearest police station.

Authorities, however, warned members of the public not to confront or attempt to apprehend Adiele themselves, urging anyone with relevant information to provide it to the appropriate authorities to assist the investigation and recovery efforts.
